Honestly I agree, this was the right writing decision. Bjorns behaviour was so bad it strained Erna. The child runs parallel to how their relationship was unhealthy and to miscarry it just about when he starts to have a genuine turn of heart is a poetically tragic twist that also touches on a lot of real struggles couples go through.
But I also hate it. Everyone hates this for Erna. So this is still a Romance Manga and they better have a happy end, that compensates for this. Because nobody reads this genre for just depression and sadness.

Its simply the reality of life one can’t change we can’t go onliving as if such things do not happen
The story beautifully potrays how fragile a woman is during pregnancy and what can happen when she’s placed in a very stressful environment, and a doctor that didn’t really listen to her complain on the pain. Something that still happens today despite the advancement in technology and all. Many pregnant women either die or lose their kids because they do not listen to their complaints and thats something you can’t ignore so grow up thats life we’re not living fairytale . Theyre are not promoting killing of babies lol
@GodwinDuke In the past, without technology, miscarriage was handled in this way, mostly. It’s not scary, it was reality for many women of long time ago; today it’s different…

Stupid sh*t story. Why not skip the scene? Why show it and scare women about all this?

1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. It’s a natural, normal thing to happen.
