Personally I’m not justifying I just feel sympathetic. He went to war, got a giant scar on his face which definately wasn’t fun, lost his entire family and has a limp. Even though he isn’t great bro went through some hard stuff.
Its not your partners responsibility to fix your pass traumas you can work on it together but u choose to marry that girl knowing you uave problem and then you prohibited her like what was your goal?? I can understand his trauma however i dont like or agree with the way he went about it i dont like him now nor his past life
I dont like how ppl are justifying his behaviour because of ptsd because if he had started hitting her i dont think you guys would feel the same way even in this current life he seems like an inconsiderate person who’s self absorbef and entitled “since youre bankrupt dont you see im your saving grace so u should feel honored that i proposed to you” this man ugh

hes thoughtful enough, he would be the best husband if he didnt went to that war and suffered the loss of his dear ones so quickly
