She is an incredibly selfish FL. Yep war is terrible, but to say they went to war for patriotism and dismiss all the suffering and heartache, only caring that PTSD made your married life difficult? Dude, do you want the enemy to come in? They went and suffered and died to protect her and her way of life and she calls them fools. Now she’s living her 2nd life how about she goes and does something useful like join as a nurse instead… give them a heads up about enemy ambushes… something more than, just figuring out how she can be happy… and protecting her assets…in the middle of a war! She needs redemption not the earl.
