So I think I got it, they married because she had to but she still wanted to be a good wife And be caring for him but he thinks she hates him because his face is burden (idk it looks like it) And has a lesser limp And she could get a better husband etc etc… I like this kind of things so 😗✌

Both are traumatized in their own way and no wonder that the FL wants to have a life without her (future) husband…
If I was her, I would also keep my distance and try to safe at least my father from misery…preventing a war or him going to war seems war less possible
