I know it’s going to be fine in the story but I wish she wouldn’t push her brother so much to be around their dad, He has a genuine reason to not like him but it gets ignored. She had a good family life in the past so she doesn’t get it. Her brother had to deal with some hurtful things their father did before she was born so he should be given some grace. I mean the way he got treated by nobility and the servents was disgusting and that was only because they knew they could get away with it. If their father was present he never had to go through that humiliation.
