many have already read the raws so they probably know that Duke is the Male Lead. I read the Novel and all i can say is he’s the only one who deserves her and loves her the most. He suffered for years just to keep her safe. He’s the only guy who FL sleeps with because she wants to, not because she’s under the curse. throughout the story when FL said she hates him, she was lying to herself. The biggest plot twist is that FL’s mother is alive with ML’s father and both of them are lovers so they plot this whole treason thing and also made FL’s life miserable and FL’s mother hate her alot so she did that… When this was happening Almandite was locked up in basement prison and being abused and torture by his father and FL’s mother and they are the one’s who stopped him going to the FL by imprisoning him… And his past is really pitiful then FL he have been through so much but he has a clear goal that is to save FL from her misery… He took all the abuse and also learn everything and he also tested by holy sword countless time and in the end holy sword ask him what he truly desires and since he can’t lie about this so he said he want to save FL so after that holy sword didn’t react so he thought he failed to awaken the holy sword but in the end when FL was being eaten by the evil Pope’s soul and didn’t have much time left and they have to kill her otherwise her body will become a new host for evil Pope… Both other guys were ready to sacrifice her but he was the only one who didn’t agreed to do it. ML choose to die with her coz she is literally reason to live and if she die then he didn’t have the will to live so he embrace her with a peaceful smile and other ML’s got shocked by his decision but they couldn’t stop him coz they can’t touch anyone who is infected by evil so they just watched and that’s when holy sword react and save them both… After they wakeup FL sort out her other relationships and they had peaceful breakup and FL didn’t made them her concubines coz she didn’t want to be disrespect their feelings and she already have ML in her heart from their childhood so that’s also the reason why only with Almandite Sigma disappear or react differently… So she have Almandite so she didn’t want to take any other ML’s feelings for granted coz she can’t love them and if she was like other kings it’s okay to take concubine but she didn’t want that when she’ll never love them so she sort out those relationships and that knight choose to stay with her as her knight since he already took his oath…
