@ Bookwormie, I think this “affair” thing means they had issues between them like a beef probably because they didn’t get along with each other. It’s clear to me that this Lady Henry is such a b*tch 😒
But for nobility to have this kind of thing is impolite and unfit for a noble house… so they try to describe it as something as well-behaved as possible…. But “affairs” has a double meaning that confuses people. The translator should’ve left a note explaining, the meaning according to the context.
