   The only thing I liked is the Art. The story is not that interesting. To me, the FL is a bit weak and controllable. One day when the ML gets bored of her, he will definitely find someone else. Maybe her character will develop soon but it has been ep.40 so far.

   The only reason I even started a story with a shity title like this is because of the rating which was 4.5.
   3 chapters in and it is just as shity as the title suggested

   It’s smut. Of the “icy strong man who was never interested in a woman before, and is now hyper focused and devoted to a single one” type with a bit of “forced to do it, now kiss!”

   The main plot device, that this culture will occasionally have “proxy brides” (usually professional prostitutes) used for the first night to ensure the real bride doesn’t get stuck with an impotent dud since divorce isn’t really a thing, and/or to seal the marriage alliance when the bride is far away and not present, does not feel thought out at all. Like, if this is common, why wouldn’t they just immediately call for the ‘real’ bride? Why would the proxy be told to win the husband’s heart and maybe have his kid like she’ll be kept around long term? What’s the legality of this, since, if this is semi-common, the ‘real’ bride would still legally be the bride and the proxy would have no standing.

   If they had just swapped the brides and not made up this weird proxy system thing, most of how people are acting would make more sense, but it feels like they wanted a reason for the FL to “earn” her spot and/or be unstable in her position, so she has a reason to keep having sex with this guy she’s not sure of. They also seem to be making up different and new rules about this proxy thing when it suites as they go along, and that is annoying.

   On the whole, what little plot there is, with the proxy thing, pressure from the emperor, the presence of a spy, the looming threat of war, etc. simply serves as a reason for these two reluctant people to keep trying at sex. Still, they’ve got chemistry and some low effort smut can be fun, so take it at face value for what it is and you’ll probably enjoy it.

   I dunno wtf is wrong with necroscans but the fact that they are censoring smut manhwas is fucking hilarious and idiotic cause they hiding their translations behind paywall.

   Manhwa is boring by the way, nothing special, just like the title suggests. Reminds me of Light and Shadow a little bit but FL is weakling here
