After her grandmother passes away, Na Suhyeon wraps up her city life and returns to her hometown. Suhyun, as if drawn by something, climbs Mount Obong, a place her grandmother, while alive, had strictly forbidden her from ever ascending. Lost in the mountains and caught in a perilous situation due to bizarre occurrences, Suhyeon is aided by a man named Moonjoo, who appears unharmed even after being decapitated… Moonjoo claims that Suhyeon is the reincarnation of Shaman Kang Yuhwa, his spiritual mother from the past, and asserts that the strange events unfolding before her are a result of her climbing Mount Obong. Though deeply suspicious of Moonjoo, Suhyeon feels a sense of responsibility after directly confronting spirits that have stolen shamanic tools buried in Kang Yuhwa’s grave and are now running rampant with newfound power. Moonjoo speculates that the “evil spirit” that led Kang Yuhwa to her death sensed Suhyeon’s energy and desecrated her grave. Ultimately, Suhyun resolves to join Moonjoo, to understand the voices of the spirits, and to retrieve the five shamanic tools… Can the two of them truly banish the evil spirit, and can Moonjoo finally break his curse of immortality?
