So I’m going to be different from the comments below. What dark energy is tainting him? It’s obviously demonic energy, but it’s talking to him, trying to twist his regret into blame. Is it a dark energy he’s causing himself and those are truly his own thoughts or did the energy attach to him and is twisting his regret into blaming another? Or the third option, someone actively trying to corrupt him and twist his regret.
