Then there is the fact that the child doesn’t seem to remember much about how they left their mother and where they were before resurrection. I mean, are we supposed to believe that his memories get wipped? Which begs the question, what kind of revival is it? What is happening to the kid when his time is up? And if resurrection is so costly and has such a high threshold, what will the MC do when others want their family members back?
I am not discrediting this because it is good but the resurrection thing is not sitting well with me so I need a different point of view. Resurrection is overpowered so I understand that it cannot be done without a heavy cost but the system has been about value and difficulty as far as I can tell. So since he profits more from the actions of his vassals, including the value and difficultly of a cyclops at their current level, how is a full resurrection of a human child not a fitting reward? It is a human child for a giant cyclops! The resurrection should be complete
