There was a panel on 78 where his cheek look puffier because his head isn’t turned as far to the side and a few similar a few chapters before, but tHaT wAs BeFoRe ThE bReAk? Also that was the abs and d scene so can’t blame people if they were distracted….

Compare the panel of Raphael escorting her here, to a panel in both 10 and 85 where his face is at the same angle. All three have point and sharp eyes and slender cheeks. The only times he has been give rounder eyes are during moments of surprise/excitement and rounded cheeks during the cartoonish chibi scene.
The first scenes we see him mostly alone with Cayena after she kissed him. He’s in a damn honeymoon phase after finally getting together and
It happens since coming back from break, Raphael appear has change, I wouldn’t throw it at smiling more. First of all check out how much art has actually improved from begining, try to look on chapters around 5, 25, 60 etc… As of Raphael you can see his change of look the most by looking at his eyes, they were more pointy and sharp even when he was actic emberest, cute those were always small. Only few characters, and I would say females, had round eyes, so it’s “eye catching” change and make him look faminine and childlish…. same goes when drawer make his cheeks chubby, all character has slender faces, we can see chubby just in kids faces here. I am not sure is it actually new artist, it can be artist changed style a bit, some would say improve, but I find it that I sometimes prefer style before, so I refrain from “improve”.
You guys, he’s just smiling more. They had a couple scenes of him being excited and that somehow equals ‘new artist’ and ‘younger looking’. Having a character actually smile instead or smirking can do that. The only change I saw when comparing old and new chapters is the increased detail in the art which happens. Give it time, there will still be plenty of serious moments to make him angry and ‘look his age’ again.
Everyone wants the old Raphael, I’m 50-50 on that. I mean it’s funny to see him like that but also want that serious Raphael too. But the man is in love, so….🤷 I mean if anything happens to her, we’d get to see Raphael go out, right?

I’m not complaining that he laughs more or that he has more scenes like that. The problem is that now he looks much younger, he looks like a teenager.
