This manhwa is okay, I’d give it a 7/10. My main issue is that when the FL reincarnates into Tanasia’s body, she had already abused the ML, Arskan, treating him horribly as a slave and leaving him covered in bruises. Like most villainess stories, she realizes this and starts treating him better, and naturally, the ML begins to like her. But I don’t get it, why would he fall for someone who enslaved and beat him? Most people would hold a grudge or hate their abuser, not forgive and obsess over them. I think the story would’ve worked better if their relationship started differently, maybe if Arskan were a duke who learned about her villainous past and they fell in love over time. I know other stories use similar redemption arcs, especially between the abusive villainous and her children, but in those cases, it’s usually little kids who still crave their mother’s love, so their forgiveness makes more sense. A slave-master romance like this just feels off….🫤

At times I feel like I like her and at others I don’t. She’s the typical try to follow the original tropes but without herself getting implicated in the villain way. She still tries to force a relationship to happen that hasn’t yet happened instead of leaving it to their own choice. It felt very like a hypocrite and the freedom of choice being taken away. FL just blindly assumes the original FL and ML must get together. I don’t like how she tries to force it to happen
