The female lead is pathetic. She’s such a doormat, like if you search doormat on Google I’m sure you’ll find a picture of her somewhere. And it wouldn’t be a problem if she wasn’t complaining every chapter and I literally mean every chapter. “Oh they hate me and love Lillie” “oh I’m so pathetic I deserve it” “why do my family hate me” “where’s the real Austin” “omg I like the male lead but I’m somehow disturbing the plot”. Jesus we get it, you’re pathetic excuse of a human no need to remind us every second. This has me feeling like maybe the Author is depressed and they’re projecting on the female lead.
You know how some stories you read bcus you like the characters despite the plot being boring, this is the opposite. I hate the female lead and I’m only read because the plot is good.
