@Alpha_Islander. This is how I feel about most manhwa where the MC is a girl. FL who are nobles or princesses are often spoiled by their fathers, which makes sense given their status. However, when they have brothers—usually older—the brothers rarely seem to receive the same level of attention or favoritism. Maybe it’s just me, but this stands out in most fantasy set in historical manhwa I read. It’s probably because back then and even now today with some parents, boys are expected to have a strong nature and aren’t shown affection the same way as girls do. The love they received is tough love, while girls receive more gentle and nurturing love. This is clearly shown with Leian, who, as the future king and a boy, is treated differently then his sister. It doesn’t hurt a little to give the same kind of love you give your daughter to your son especially when they are still a little kid.

Honestly I feel sorry for the little boy. Isn’t this what you would call favouritism? The parents should have had a talk with him.
