Based on what little info we have, I assume her relation to the family is that there was a mix-up of some kind in the hospital where she was born (or malicious swapping of children) and thus no-one knows she’s not the real daughter until the actual real daughter, with the powers of this family, appears. Why they’d kill the kid they raised who would have had no idea as to their real parentage, I’ve no idea. That wouldn’t be her fault at all, even if she learned it earlier and kept it quiet out of fear of losing her family.
It kind of doesn’t make sense, how would they NOT know she isn’t related by blood. She was very clearly adopted, the mom didn’t pop her out nor did the dad lol. She said that her bio dad was the one in a coma…. Like what?? Maybe they thought she was a distant relative that they adopted?
