I also just read that someone’s having a problem with the Brave browser, which is weird cause I’ve never seen a pop-up bad while using this for over a year now
I know I’m late to this convo but if anyone comes back, wondering for the answer use the Brave browser if you’re reading on your phone it’s the Brave app has a lion on it. It’s red and it blocks all of those pop-up ads for you. There’s also a VPN section that you can use in the in it for computer it’s a web browser like chrome called the same thing. Brave looks the same as the app, red with a lion.
Try switching adblockers or viweing through a different device for sites that do this. Sometimes the ads just have a work around that the adblocker hasn’t updated for yet. They seem to target specific types of devices, so changing things up helps.
