I sorta feel sad for Dion… He has incredibly shitty parents that only ever saw him as a tool. The first love he has ever witnessed that wasn’t a weakness were Roxannas tears and determination, killing the illusion of her brother. I don’t think he wants to see her tears, he might not know it himself, I think he wants to see that strength again. Maybe even a love directed at him. That’s why he is obsessed with Roxanna. Despite living in the same hell as him, she has a kindness in her that gives her strength.
He is a monster himself, no doubt about it, but I wish he found some redemption …
