I hate the stories, which are getting more inconvinient, because one of the characters with crucial information, just simply chooses not to tell anyone, who could be of help. I mean the princess clearly can communicate (to a degree). She knows she is the one everybody has waited for and she knew waaay before the rest of the cast, that the serpent has returned and she has the information, that its a beastkin this time and that it has followers which help to ressurect the evil thing. And hey, perhaps tell you dad or brother, thatthe serpent haunts you for a year in your dreams and you communicate with someone.
