      Also… Interesting thing that I noticed: ML never denies or make excuses for his behaviour. He is bluntly open and honest about his behaviour – and what he thinks. If you just ask the straightforward questions from him. Even if he isn’t much of a talker, he answers when FL asks the clear questions.
      I know that he is in jerk spectrum, but he sure is honest one and seem to know who he is – and doesn’t shy away from it – bad or good.
      .
      I can’t hate the ML’s character at all, even if in here you’re supposed to hate ML that aren’t 100% perfect fluffy green romance guy since birth (never mind FL always have to be 120%)… In a weird way, because of his imperfections and him not making excuses to who he is – makes him realistically perfect ML.
      For now, this is quickly raising to be one of my favourite series. (Ofcourse there is still plenty of time it to take a nosedive.)

   Just read to Chapter 20, love this series and can’t wait for more. I saw on TikTok that this is the same author as “What it Means to be You”. So I think you need to be prepared to deal with miscommunication, toxicity, complacency, people pleasing, etc (which is what I love, also a fan of My Beloved Oppressor, Problematic Prince and Betrayal of Dignity)

   I don’t think the ML is as bad as people make him out to be, not as bad as these other ML I mentioned above. There was a misunderstanding but honestly reasonable that he misunderstood, but he was rude about it.

   Also the FL isn’t dumb? She actually moved forward quickly, instead of a typical FL who drags on her decision to separate.

   I think the series has a lot of potential, I encourage anyone who enjoyed any of the series I mentioned above to try.

   This is better than reviews say, but it’s an angst story, not some fluffy romance. Do not read if you don’t like angst stories. I think this is a fair warning to people before they start this.
   If you personally hate something, it doesn’t mean that the story is actually bad.
   .
   The ML isn’t the worse there is, FL isn’t weak as people make her to be – she did divorce him and didn’t instantly start forgiving him of his ignorance.
   There is the common communication problem, but it’s not as annoying or sillier than usually. Everything fits well for a dark story that isn’t meant to be fluffy, and for now at chapter 16, it is better written and paced than many other stories. May it be angst or any other story.
   .
   Personalities and personal weaknesses of the characters aside:
   Noragami already said well about flow of the story, it’s excellent. Rare to have anything with this good of a flow. They recognized it even when hating a character.

    ML: Handsome face with a stupid brain. Trash personality. Doesn’t care about the FL yet believe he loves her properly. Like seriously dude? Who the **** made a captain?
    Communication skills? They are like nope we don’t do this here.

    The good point Is the art Is georgeous ,but i could literally strangle the 2 main leads,they make my Blood boil buuut It’s still readable,but i Will probably drop It soon anyway

    UGHHH The FL and ML are insufferable. The FL is a moron who falls in love with the asshole ML and then we have to suffer through their stupid personalities. It would make no sense to read about a stupid FL who is in love with a complete douchebag of a husband.
