   Too early to call it bad. There are some obvious red flags from the ML, but it is being revealed every chapter that things aren’t what they seem. To elaborate on malamarie’s comment, the female lead is naÏve, but they have already established that she was sickly and not allowed to even go everywhere in the castle, much less outside. She is the definition of sheltered. It sounds like her social circle was very condensed. Give her some time.

   I really don’t like the female lead at all – she’s far too naïve and acts completely illogically – but I’m still curious about the story. The main characters will probably end up together in the end, even despite the crimes that were committed. Honestly though, I’d love it if everything seemed to magically work out, the ML thought, ‘Right, she finally understands me and everything’s going to be fine now’… and then – hold on a second – ‘I haven’t forgotten what you did to me. Bye.’ Middle finger included, because maybe you should’ve thought about that earlier instead of hiding everything. 👩🖕
