To justify the character’s weakness, they want the audience to believe it somehow makes sense that the king raised her to be the most stupid, weak, and easily manipulated queen in history, because apparently he didn’t raise her to be strong. Of course, a queen who has to deal with all kinds of snakes has to be the most delicate person in the world. My God.
