I really don’t like how she didn’t tell him that he has the right to choose if he wants someone to touch him or not. Yes, he should be kind, but that does not mean he should have to allow anyone to touch him affectionately. Just like how a girl shouldn’t have to let any man touch her just because he likes her.
He’s acting like a feral/wild animal, which he is, and considering what he has been through, it’s understandable though I would prefer it if he gets to learn how to behave, especially if he truly wants to be by Leilin’s side. (naturally of course not forced)
