He is trying to show reality to her and Maxi will have to pull through to prove him wrong. Both sides have their reason actually. And both have valid reasons to be upset with each other, its normal in relationships. I guess I can’t blame Riftan bcoz he is bringing his beloved to dangerous places and this is Maxi’s first time dealing with monsters. And I get it that Maxi wants to prove her worth and I totally support that. I like how the storyline evolve into something that is relatable…shows character depth & development…
no, they are perfect for each other, riften is only looking out for her, and he did warn her it would not be a pleasant trip, and on top of that he is the highest-ranking person there, so he has a job to do and not flirt with his wife, like they said one false move and they are dead.
