I think a lot of women can sympathize with her. Being the only girl in a family of boys of which the youngest got whatever he wanted, i understand completely.
Then hearing adults say girls shouldn’t do this or want this and should know their place etc. And men/boys getting jealous because I was better at things than them.
That contributed to my overachiever trait ,-Got to prove that I can do it better to get recognize.
