I feel like Anastacius was just a naive boy, who was pushed to accomplish impossible tasks by others because of his status, which then lead to his jealousy over Claude for being much better than him on everything, whilst he may seem cold I think all he really wanted was a family that could accept him as he was, so maybe he acted that way because he cherished his daughter but was just too weak before to be able to protect her from Aerternitas

Anastacius has it rough too. I don’t hate hate him, just maybe a little disdain. And besides its that stupid man that possessed him that pulled this stunt. I actually think there could be redemption for Anastacius, he seems to genuinely love his daughter.
