Look at the last panel. There’s black shadow behind the noble man who seems like they’re talking mentally. Does this means Aeternitas left Anastacius body because he was no longer of use and chose another host instead? Anastacius was clearly acting differently like he used to be. And I am pretty sure Anastacius real soul was still inside his body, that’s why Jeanette said his expression changea sometimes.
