I like that explanation way more than “I’ve been transported to the world of a game”. I’ve recently seen it used in another series (probably the biggest nowadays of this genre), and I quite like it. The mc being back to their original world (the fantasy world) and the “book”, “novel”, “game”, being something made by themselves to themselves.
