While I’ve always liked Ezekiel, I also knew that was never going to be the main ship. He deserves someone to love him, but it can’t be Athy. It IS odd that he views Jeanette as a sister when the story told of them being the main ship – wondering if he felt that way the first time around too or if meeting Athy earlier on this time around molded his heart away from romantic feelings towards Jeanette and towards Athy instead.
