Ok ok I think this black haired guy is actually Claude’s brother he did some black magic to save himself I guess that’s why he is weak you see that fluctuations when his eyes turns blue. Now his eyes turns red and he remembers that scene which happened with Lucas so what if he did a deal kind of something with his ancestor and that ancestor is also in this body because of which his body is actually weak

The entity that called out to Anastacius b4 in Claude’s memory was the “greatest” mage Aeternitas who has come back with a grudge against Lucas, or he’s earned that title by using too much dark magic and so getting cursed to roam the world as an entity searching for a suitable vessel..
