I still can’t believe the author makes the king and prince powerless without a reason other than the empress family is influential. Like is the emperor a puppet then. Also I don’t think it’s fair for Shulina (the one who got reincarnated into the story as Shushu) to not try towards his father and brother. In this life, they are genuine and just wants a chance. While I don’t like how the author is making them weak and powerless, they want to try and for me thats all the matters. But I get that she is haunted by the memories of Shulina of the past so she is doubtful.
Yeah, we know she has lived that past life but she still doesn’t get it and I’m worried when she does. I low key wish she just tell the duke about what’s going on. Just say you can see the future and that’s why everything has been going on like this.
I can’t completely blame her family since by the time they met her it’s been years and she had no power they thought she died long ago and was a boy, they found her earlier this time because she used her power while still young. The only thing I can blame them for is their stupidity and how it’s obvious who did it yet they are bringing her back in without protection or security. It’s also maddening because the queen and her lackeys know the truth and still tortures her til the end and gets to live a good happy life. One of the things I hate about regression or time travel to redo life is that the fact remains those villains won and lived their happy life.
From this chapter alone it is quite clear that she isn’t a reincarnator but a regressor
Like the trauma is so bad that she had to remember it as a story/novel to cope that to remember it as actual memories
What happened in that mirror realm? 😭
