I think Haesol’s mother hates her daughter at a surface to a somewhat deeper level. Reminding her about the pos husband but at the same time she must have a care for her beyond the responsibilities. Considering the husband forced her daughter to modeling at such a young age, the mother must’ve found out and led to the divorce. Taking Haesol into custody because she couldn’t stand that she was abused just like her and tried to raiser her. However, during those 2 years, she noticed how Haesol was very emotionless and that fully scared her. That lead for her to fully detach herself and move out again.
Just a shitty situation all around her Haesol got the brunt of it all, but Yeonwoo is her light in that void where can fully experience happiness.
@Sakiko_chan Unfortunately, in one of the previous chapters it showed a silhouette of a person approaching the school and I feel that’s her father.
I didn’t expect this at all I thought maybe the father was abuser who force her to do modeling but not this poor mother and haesol both of them didn’t deserve it I just hope the father doesn’t come back 😭😭
