Just tell your father/brother that you have no desire to be on the throne and you feel like Rupert is the best solution. I don’t see why she is doing this. Yes her family is planning treason for her, but why can’t she just bury her background if it’s causing this much discord? Rupert asked if she wanted anything of him. Just ask him to forgive what her family as done and then talk to her family and make them stop. Then she doesn’t have to choose between them. At this point this is stupid.
Where is the guilt? when she wants misery….like she would have find other way but she didnt, there many ootion available rn but she choose to do that and no there will be guilt whether she want to run away from guilt. She could have said that she needs some time to talk later and promise she will tell the whole truth or whatever it is she want properly when both are healed by their wounds from the fire or etc how it happened
