Okay, I get that FL is struggling. Her “family” does nothing but lie, not listen to her, and do whatever they want. I get that she needs to get away and process. But I can’t excuse how she is treating Rupert right now. She knows that he isn’t that same person as in the past and even knows now that past Rupert was justified, and didn’t kill them for false charges. BUT, she’s also the one who for years now clung to him repeatedly telling him things like “I’m your person please trust me” and “I’ll never leave you I’m on your side” basically training him to trust and rely on her. Now that he is realizing he loves her and his walls come down she now wants to say, nah I don’t ever want to see you again I’m leaving…girl take some responsibility for your actions. You can’t just string people along however and whenever you want. Lari once you pick up the pieces and sort yourself out your better take your butt over to Rupert and apologize. Sorry, now I’m mad.
To those asking why she “cant just ask the count to stop” , this is why. We and her are / were probably delusional enough to think that her family cared about her. Of course they’d want their actual son to be emperor. They never cared about Laliette from the begininng.
Are we reading the same manga, like I’m upset she’s acting like this too, but do y’all not remember she was executed along with her family for their treason by Rupert? I mean I can be remembering wrong, but honestly this whole situation is sad. Laliette is struggling rt now, because she doesn’t know how to cope with these emotions.
