   It’s not just about the princess—although she clearly sees her enormous magic as a threat. They seem to want to undermine the emperor and seize power for themselves. Undermining the princess is just part of that whole. But there is some missing whys there.

   I don’t get the queen’s problem with her. Sure, she didn’t give birth to the princess but, her bio mom is dead? (Forgot) and no longer a threat and she already has a son that will be the heir. So, what’s the problem with raising or adopting little girl? She’s so young if you raise her like a real daughter she’ll grow up loyal and possibly share your ideals bc She’s the only mother figure that she’s ever known .
