I think she forgot that he didn’t meet her until after she took over the body.
So every memory she has and every contact she made with him is base off of her actions and words.
Even if the book/past he clearly didn’t like the OG aunt. The way she treated him wasn’t too kind either, with her demanding payment and etc.
so he wasn’t attractive to the OG aunt from the get go. He’s have affection for u
y’all are wrong his uncle DID love him past responsibility. his demeanor and stoicism is why fl thought he did not actually like her when he really just does not know how to express himself and as a child ofc if adults cannot perceive his true intent how could this little boy. he loved him truly
Yup, it’s as ItzMaya said. It’s not about the uncle dying but the fact that everything he did in his past life was because it was his duty to protect the heir of the duchy and he held no special affection towards Luca.
Luca didn’t feel abandonned bc of his uncle’s death but betrayed when he realized that everything was only for duty (and the death was the catalyst for the realization)
I don’t think he’s mad at him dying as much as realizing that he died for him out of duty. It was essentially his duty to protect Luca not because he held affection for him, but because it was his obligation as his uncle. I think Luca realized even with all the memories they shared and how much he loved him, Ruediger never felt anything for him besides responsibility. He probably realized that everyone who “loved” him had an another reason to. Ruediger felt responsible for him and his grandmother saw him as his father. That’s gotta be so sad
Aww man I get it. Poor Luca must have felt like Rudiger abandoned him by dying.
Probably spent years of his past life obsessing over how much he needed him there and growing desperate that the one good person in his life just kinda went and dropped dead for him. So he decided that Rudigers idea of love was fucked if that meant just leaving the people that loved him behind and alone in some dumbass act of heroism.
Like, I seriously don’t dislike that twist. Luca may have regressed but hes very evidently full of scars that he sustained as kid and its interesting because we dont get his PoV and can see more clearly that his actions are motivated by his childhood traumas in a way we wouldn’t get if this was his story.
