I know exactly how she feels. I had this LDR once, when my ex worked in the USA. We met physically like 2-3 times a year, but we kept in touch everyday, all day. Then one day our communication decreased immensely, he was hard to contact and I could only wait. Not even his company secretary whom I know could tell me his whereabout. His last words was, “Give me sometime to fix this mess I had and put everything in order, and then I will tell you everything”. And then he vanished. Disappear. I was ghosted. For years I searched for his trace everywhere, on any social media platform existed (and I even made some new friends from those lol)..but found nothing about him. For years I was like obsessed to find out about him. That was an awful feeling.
