The art is very “artsy” and pretty but the story is a lil bit slow and just too chill?

Unlike the description, the FL is not that remarkable. She’s kind tho and cute but I don’t see anything else from her. She’s supposed to be smart and good at solving crimes coz she was a cop but there’s nothing in the story that can show her abilities. She is outspoken but that’s it.

Unlike other heroines from other stories, it’s as if she integrated herself to that era so well that she forgotten the technology or the stuff in the modern world. The only thing she introduced to this timeline are the milk tea and the face mask which were just mentioned out of nowhere.

The ML on the other hand? His story is tragic and I’m excited how he will stand firm to his choice of staying engaged to the FL while running to become a crown prince. So much more to him too but the story is not doing any justice

Overall, if you like romance more than revenge, the saving grace of this manhwa is the FL and ML’s relationship. There’s a lot of cute romantic scenes but there’s not enough story to make you bleed for them. No risky parts that will make you say oh they are brilliant and cunning. Nothing of sort. The villains are forgettable and I think very easy to defeat but let’s wait because they are still kids in this story.
