   I read all 98 available chapters. Can’t say i recommend it, the pacing is…something… and the story becomes plain and predictable really fast, i wish i could like it, i love the art and the characters, but seriously man…i wish i could give or anything more than a 5/10.

   Since i knew where stories like this one goes, i was ready to give it a 1/5 if she ever forgives him. At least now knowing the ending from LN it’s great to know, that she ends up divorcing him.

   (Read to chapter 80) A heads up, there’s definitely lots of angst. This is one of those stories where FL should just end up alone and free (or just get together with her maid because that’s the only person who’s been on her side from the start). Theodore is HOT GARBAGE idc how anyone tries to defend him, so are FL’s family. If you like this genre of manhwa then it’s definitely for you, but if you’re looking for something more fulfilling/satisfying, best to look elsewhere.

   THE VEIL OF OBSIDIAN ECLIPSE.

   It’s a novel. It’ll give you the same vibes but in a different way.

   Meh. So it was interesting and dragged me along enough to read it, but I’m feeling like I didn’t need to read it-like I didn’t really get anything out of it. It’s not exactly satisfying to me, nothing is really getting resolved, there’s so much twisted insanity and rampant unfulfilled emotions. I guess a lot of people like it, but for me, if you aren’t in love with it after the first few chapters, it’s not going to get any better or change much from there.

   I wholeheartedly recommend this story; the ML and FL have a complicated relationship, stemming from the FL’s family, and it really shines with the way the author writes his memory loss and the FL’s reaction to it. You can’t help but feel sorry for both the ML and the FL, since they are put in uncomfortable positions in the story — personally, i can see myself in either situation and acting nearly the same.

   It’s compelling and interesting, and watching the hopelessness of some of these situations really fulfils my need for a good ol’ angst. 10/10

   You get to know the characters better within the story, it’s about humans evilness, hope, regret…. and a lot more. I love the story

   I have a complaint, not with the series itself but with the comments.

   Everyone keeps telling her to run away, jesus fucking christ, read the title of the story. It’s pretty obvious she’s not gonna run and if she does he’s just gonna run after her anyway. Are you dumb for real?

    This is a must read guys! It is has strong angst which is not for the weak hearted BUT it triggers your emotions to go wild…I love how the author and artists depicts the look of a person who died emotionally…It captivates me and pierces my heart looking at the female leads dead eyes who just shut down from losing the only person who gave her hope for happiness… It’s so heart clenching that I have to stop and breathe for a minute coz they captured my feelings and my anxiety in real life….
