It’s smut. Based on a moderately popular web novel by the same name.
We’ve got the down on her luck female lead, whose whole family died except her younger sister who needs expensive medical treatments. FL gets a job as a governess, but still doesn’t make enough money, so she is also a nude model for a painter. She made a deal with the painter that he wouldn’t paint anything with her face, but he violates that, sells the painting, and she runs around like an idiot trying to ensure the painting doesn’t get out and ruin her life.
The ML is a rich, icy, pervert. Hot young billionaire man who collects nude paintings and only nudes. He bought her painting. She tries to prevent it from being sent, and then we have to endure some absolutely ridiculous and stupid Harlequin smut level tactics, including asking her to strip so she can “prove” she’s the one in the painting, and then him saying she can have the painting back, but only if he gets to watch as she models naked for a brand new one without her face.
She is an anxious, pathetic, submissive mess who winds up trapped as his reluctant mistress, and he’s an icy, dom-y, daddy who likes being in control. She has to prove she’s NoT lIKe ThE oTHeR GirLS while keeping this dude interested and always being worried about her precarious situation, he’s “unreadable” (but not really) until we all know she’s going to run off or break up with him or whatever and he’ll do a grovel and things work out.
You’ll either love it for following the typical romance novel tropes, or completely hate it for the same reasons.
