Cesare isn’t really a simp he is a narcissistic ahole with a chip on his shoulder. The only reason he is chasing after FL is because she said no. Being a play boy is how he determines his self worth and FL has done damage to his ego. Cesare like to be the hunter so it’s no surprise that he isn’t interested in Isabella, she does nothing to boost his ego. In the original timeline she was the most desirable woman and she was a boost to his reputation. In this timeline she doesn’t have anything to offer.
