   This is not a typical love story nor is it even a love story really tbh. It feels more like a coming of age/growing stronger as a woman who’s trying to figure out how to live in this weird fantasy world that she read in a book. The FL is also very apathetic in some very weird ways or I guess you could say detached? The MLs if you can even call them that honestly are complicated to say the least. I’ve read up until chapter 101 and absolutely do not like two out of the three ML for her tbh. They both are aloof and seem kind of sketchy/dangerous 🤔 It just seems like she’s going to return to her original world or leave the palace altogether at the end of the story. It’s like the other manhwa about the villainess who wants to return home no matter what. That’s the vibe this story gives

   The description is somewhat misleading. The king’s beautiful lover manipulates other people – men and women. The FL is as an insignificant side character in a book – a book of which I still don’t know what it’s about (what the original plot is) until chapter 100.
   The story is pretty good, I have no idea what else can happen (after the carp thing a lot of things can happen).

   but I should probably write it in brief
   -intresting plot
   -nice build up of events
   -appropriate pace
   -genuine and likeable characters
   -not your baisc shoujo
   -slow burn romance (maybe)
   -very very ambiguous and slightly creepy vibe
   -definitely recommended

    Oh lord this is such a good story!! It’s unique with dark aspects but still really funny and sweet and romantic. The dialogue flows so well. The translation is amazing!!

    So far the story feels more like it belongs in the mystery genre than romance. That’s not a bad thing, especially if you’re fed up with all the stories that lack a plot. It’s hard to really give it a rating so far, since the story hasn’t progressed enough, but it’s an interesting read.
