Bro seriously. The plot is supposed to be a straight line. They all ant the same thing: for FL to marry the Duke. If ML doesn’t want to be Emperor, then there really is no reason for og!FL to fight the Emperor. The FL and og!FL are doing the most to make everything complicated.

The emperor wants her to marry the duke. The duke wants to marry her. She wants to marry the duke or has to. He is confessing his feelings. She is running away. She does not want Lucalina to be with the duke. But she is just leaving the duke and Lucalina alone, which results in the confession. She is later whining because Lucalina had the chance to propose and she proposed.
Can anyone *PLEASE* tell me what is the problem!!! They are just making everything worse
