   I heard that “True Beauty” Anime will be scheduled for 2024!

   The rating goes down because the story might be draggy. It has already 250+ chapters and yet an ending?

   It’s the same like other manhwas that I’ve read. At first the rating was good. But when the authors started to drag the story further for more chapters, then it will become troublesome. Sadly I already drop many of them. Mostly good ones.

   Im up to date with the webtoon version. And gotta agree with most of the comment. Bad character development and story got worse. I force myself to read it to know the ending. I regret wastinf my time, i wouldve stop reading when the fl kept having the same self doubt over and over again.

   It was good until the author dragged it out and the FL literally doesn’t have any character development overall, it was a good story but not anymore

   It was so popular until the story keeps dragging and copying real life idol problems. The author seems enjoying entertainment fame and then the story’s quality keep going down to the worst.

   Started out good but as the story goes by, the author gave more attention to 2nd lead’s character development than the 1st lead. It made the 1st lead appear boring, uninteresting and bland which make me feel like the story is bland too. If the author is going to focus on the 2nd lead, she should make the 2nd lead the hero.

   @minkah, so are you saying you like that the characters never grow and continue to be shallow and hide themselves BETTER?

   Lives a fake life, enjoys the fact that people think she’s beautiful and never let anyone see how she looks like without a cake on her face? Yet, she gets grossed out that men throw themselves at her or touch her uncomfortably?

   However, she’s a closet otoku at home and is completely OKAY with going to the comic/anime stores without her makeup. On top of that she begged the guy NOT TO TELL ANYONE how she looked, and she would do anything for him…

   Even her own family and siblings are shocked at how she can do such a thing.

   This story is a complete rip off of Gangnam Beauty…. Expect in this one she tries to move on and even eventually tells all her new friends who she was. There was even the ML that fell for her when she was still “ugly”.

   She needs to grow the fck up. She wasn’t even that ugly to begin with, all she needed to do is take care of her acne and skincare routines, eat better and make healthy choices.

   At this point she’s “lucky” she is a thin girl, if not that’s another thing she’s going to add on top to BECOME popular and beautiful.

   I don’t want to see a person starve themselves to death and promote anorexia where REAL people actually suffer from.

   everything about this webtoon promotes such unhealthy choices. I’m surprised at the amount of chapters people are still willing to read/draw/write.

    Its popular but many people hate it because its shallow. The FL only cares about her makeup mask and fake life. It promotes really unhealthy ideals. She doesn’t grow as a person but just hides her true face better. Its about being shallow and selfish. I read most but dropped it. It was too negative emotionally and its impossible to relate to the characters.
